Gene Ramirez

 

Prior to Norrio Capital Partners, Gene served in senior executive roles as CFO at Eleusis Holdings (acquired in 2022), and Strategic Advisor to the Board and CAO at Twist Bioscience (NASDAQ: TWST).  Previously, he served as Group Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunication Investment Banking Groups over the past 20+ years for a number of global financial services firms, in which he has built industry-recognized businesses with sustainable and growing franchises domestically and internationally. He has been a trusted advisor to CEOs and Boards of Directors across venture and private equity backed companies, and advised a broad spectrum of growth companies in the software, blockchain, digital assets, financial technology,  digital media, and healthcare sectors on more than 95 initial public offerings, private financings, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions representing over $50 billion in transaction value. Gene started his career at Robertson Stephens as an Equity Research Analyst based in San Francisco.​

He received an M.B.A. with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, and a B.A. in Economics with a specialization in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
